Public Transport

By Bus:

The Derbyshire Eco Centre is on the Trent Barton Little Six bus route which goes between Wirksworth and Matlock. There is a bus stop on Porter Lane very close to the turn off to the Centre.

You can also walk through the National Stone Centre to catch the same bus on Steeple Grange. This is approximately an 8 minute walk.

Please note that buses are normally only one per hour.

By Train: The nearest train station is at Cromford 2 miles away. It is a 15 minute walk between the train station and the bus stop in Cromford to catch the bus to the Eco Centre. The trains go between Matlock and Derby. They are operated by East Midlands Railways and run approximately hourly.
