The Derbyshire Eco Centre is served by various bus routes

By Bus: The Derbyshire Eco Centre is served by various bus routes (see details below). It is on the Trent Barton Little Six bus route which goes between Wirksworth and Matlock. There are additional buses which stop roughly 8 minutes walk away through the National Stone Centre. Please note that buses are normally only one per hour.

Alight: Malthouse Close (also known as Steeple Grange) 8 mins on foot

Trent Barton Little Sixes. Wirksworth, Middleton, Cromford, Matlock
Alight: Porter Lane close to Eco Centre entrance.

Trent Barton 6.1 Bakewell, Cromford, Wirksworth, Belper and Derby.
Alight: Steeple Grange (also known as Malthouse Close.) 8 mins on foot

Ashbourne Little Bus Company 110/111 Ashbourne, Carsington, Bradbourne, Wirksworth,
Matlock.

Derbyshire Connect Ashbourne, Wirksworth and surrounding villages. There is no
fixed timetable and routes, days of travel and pick up times are mapped once bookings have
been made.

By Train: The nearest train station is at Cromford 2 miles away. It is a 15 minute walk between the train station and the bus stop in Cromford to catch the bus to the Eco Centre. The trains go between Matlock and Derby. They are operated by East Midlands Railways and run approximately hourly.
