Suitable for those who have attended our beginner’s course or for those with experience of the main hand building techniques of pinch, coil and slab work.

We will further develop hand-built forms through a series of playful exercises and projects to create individually designed pieces of work.

We will also explore different clay surface techniques including impressed, raised and carved decoration.

You will learn about adding colour to clay surfaces and the different ways to use and apply glaze to your finished work.

The course fee of £180 includes a £30 materials charge for the course.

You will need to wear suitable clothing or bring an apron.
